A. Muriel (Kirkland) King

KING, A. Muriel (Kirkland) Age 87, of Trotwood, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. She was born September 2, 1927 in Tennessee to the late Arthur and Grace Kirkland. Muriel was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Ralph; granddaughter, Sarah Kirkland; sisters, Effie Kirkland and Reba Goins; and brothers, Curtis and Champ Kirkland. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda; sons, Gary and Danny; grandchildren, Gary, Jennifer, Greg, Shannon, Missy, and Angie; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Ancil and Dorsey Kirkland; sister, Goldie Cox; and dear friend, Mildred Roberts. Muriel was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church in Drexel. The Visitation will be Saturday, June 20 from 6-8PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will be Monday, June 22 at 10:30AM at the funeral home with Pastor Donnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Trotwood.
