BRENNAMAN, Alan L. Age 71, of New Lebanon, passed away Saturday January 14, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. Alan was born January 23, 1945 in Dayton to the late Jim and Virginia (Haught) Brennaman. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Brennaman. Alan is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Kathy; children, Brad (Christin) Grossnickle, Amy Bolden, Krista Ables, and Emily (Jim) Chambers; grandchildren, Kole, Alexus, Hunter, Kaylee, Cody, Shania, Cherokee, Olivia, Connor, and Ellie; siblings, Barbara Keith, Tim (Elaine) Brennaman, and Mike (Jackie) Brennaman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Viet Nam War and later in the National Guard. Alan retired from Kettering City Schools after 37 years of service, enjoyed woodworking and fishing and loved spending time with his grandkids. A visitation will be held Wednesday January 18 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. A graveside service will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton. If desired, contributions may be made in Alan’s memory to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, 45420.
