Alice Elayne Melton

Age 74 of New Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025. She was born at home in Fairborn, Ohio on October 25, 1950 to her parents, Russell & Della Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents and best friend, Lois Wilson.

Elayne is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gomer Melton; 2 sons, Dinky Dennis and his wife, Jennifer, Shawn Dennis and his wife, Jessica; 3 grandchildren, Hank Dennis and wife, Samantha, Joshua Dennis and wife, Chasity, and Shelby Pearce and husband, Anthony; 5 great grandchildren, Cheyenne Dennis, Amelia Pearce, Annabelle Dennis, Lincoln Dennis, and Matteo Pearce; siblings, Tony Lewis, Linda & James Isaac’s, Cathy Lawson, Tina & Jim Wilkinson, Joy Gaile, and Bill & Laura Lewis; also many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Elayne enjoyed horses, giraffes, NASCAR and rodeo. Her favorite tv shows were Monk and Murder She Wrote. She loved to read especially books by her favorite author Barbara Cartland.

A visitation will be held from 12-1pm with funeral to begin at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Rogers Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Trissel Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
