Alice Irene Milyard

Alice Irene Milyard, daughter of Emmert A. and Rhoda M. Lavy Milyard was born February 13, 1949 in Montgomery County Ohio. She passed away peacefully at the home of her brother David in the care of him and his wife Vicki on February 26, 2020 just 13 days after her 71st birthday. She was preceded in death by her father Emmert, her sister Ellen Faye Milyard Mast and infant great nephew Jax Wilkins. She is survived by her mother Rhoda, brother, William (Gloria) of Grove City, Ohio, and children Wayne and Kent, brother Carl of McClave, Colorado and children Deborah, MaryLou and Andy, brother Richard (Carol), of Brookville, Ohio, and children Nathan, Jason, Laban and Camela, brother in law William Mast of Brookville, Ohio, and children Rebecca, Jonathan, Susannah and Sarah and brother David (Vicki) of Brookville, Ohio and children, Aaron, Micah, Isaac and Philip, and 32 great nieces and nephews. Alice spent all of her working career in the banking business, retiring in 2014. She loved crafts and working with her flowers and gardening. After Mother’s stroke in 2017, she dedicated her life to caring for her in their home. Her desire was to live long enough to care for Mother; however, the Lord chose to take her to Himself first. She and Mother faithfully attended the Brethren Reformed Church near Brookville, Ohio. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Rogers' Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM Monday, March 2nd at the Grace Brethren Church, 665 Westbrook Rd., Brookville, Ohio 45309. Pastor Matt McGriff officiating.
