Alvin Osborne

OSBORNE, Alvin Age 63 of New Lebanon passed away on December 12, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton after an extended illness. Alvin was born on June 18, 1958. He retired from Flowserve due to medical reasons. Alvin was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl; mother, Deloris Abram; father, William Osborne; parents-in-law, Harry and Barb Townsend; brothers, Danny Osborne and James Osborne; sister, Donna Osborne; and nieces, Heather Townsend, Crystal Townsend, and Cherish Gray. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Forest Runnels, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Todd Osborne and Sarah Nickell; grandchildren, Forest and Brittany Runnels and Celeste and Caleb Simpson; great grandchildren, Caeden Simpson and Arabella Runnels; brother, Bernard Campbell; sisters, Dorothy Fredricksen (Don) and Charlene White (Luke); brother-in-law, David Townsend (Tina); sisters-in-law, Theresa Gray (Ted), Donna Townsend, and Rosie Osborne; along with numerous family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with funeral expenses or to Hospice of Dayton. A viewing will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 9am-10:30am with funeral service to follow at 10:30am all at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Services will be conducted by Forest Runnels. Graveside will follow the service at Bear Creek Cemetery. There will not be a dinner afterwards due to Covid restrictions. “We love you Daddio/Pappy Alvin.”
