Anna C. Ernst

ERNST, Anna C. Age 96 of Trotwood, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. She was born on February 16, 1921 in Pulaski County, KY to her parents, Elmer & Balzora (Turner) Whitis. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Robert Messenger; 2nd husband, John Ernst; 12 siblings; and 2 grandchildren, Teresa Wysong, and Barbara Niles. Anna is survived by 2 sons, Cordell Messenger of Louisville, KY, and Roy (Liz) Messenger of Somerset, KY; 4 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. Anna worked at McCalls Magazine for several years. She loved gardening and was an excellent cook. She will be missed. Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm with funeral to follow at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Rogers Funeral Home, 324 West Main St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345.
