Archie L. Mccarty

M cCARTY, Archie L. Age 75, of New Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012. Archie was preceded in death by his parents, Burlie and Mattie (Crouch) McCarty; son, Gary Gene McCarty; sister, Alma Sigler; and brothers, Alva McCarty and James Crouch. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley; daughters, Tammy McCarty and Rhonda (Danny) Tibbs; grandchildren, Gary Lee (Amy) McCarty, Jason (Brandy) McCarty, Kenneth Warrix III, and Dalton Tibbs; great grandchildren, Jayden, Asiah, Aleya, Micah, Corbin, Lilly-Ann, Kigh, and Kalem; brother, Lawrence (Mary) McCarty; brother in law, Gene Lewis; sisters in law, Barb Mullins and Sue Lewis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Archie retired from General Motors after 33 years of service and enjoyed working on lawnmowers. The family will receive friends from 11AM to 1PM on Thursday, November 29 at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Carter, officiating. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Dayton, and nephew and Pastor Jerry Carter. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Archie to Hospice of Dayton.
