Basha Leola Rose

ROSE, Basha Leola Age 90 of Trotwood, went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 3, 2017. She was born on May 1, 1926 in Logan Co., KY to her parents, Henry & Matilda (Smith) Cockriell who precede her in death along with husband, Charlie Rose; 4 brothers, 4 sisters, 1 son and daughter-in-law, Gene & Daisy Rose; 2 sons-in-law, John Reynolds, and Courtney Taulbee. Leola is survived by 1 sister, Virginia (J.B.) King; 4 daughters, Mildred Taulbee, Linda Reynolds, Allie (Mike) James, and Delphia Sweney; 3 sons, Charles (Janice), Clifford (Mary), and Richard (Susan) Rose; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Tuesday at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church, 142 Olive Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45417. Pastors Donnie Smith and Doug Criswell will be officiating.
