Becky Sue Young

Young, Becky Sue 65, of West Alexandria, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 19, 2021 at her home. She was born February 14, 1956 to David and Helen (Troy) Martin in Dayton. Becky was a beloved wife of George (Don) Young for over 49 years. She is also survived by her three children, Angie Kurtz, Amy (Lee) McCarty, Doug Young; grandchildren, Micah McCarty, Aubree Kurtz, Ian Kurtz, Corbin Potter, Asiah McCarty, Easton Kurtz, Aleya McCarty; one great-grandchild, Athena McCarty; her coworkers at Dixie Elementary; and all of her loving extended family and friends. Becky was preceded in death by her daughter, April; son-in-law, JD Kurtz; grandma, Irene Troy; and parents, David and Helen Martin. Visitation for Becky will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service to be held at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Preble Memory Gardens. In lieu of any sympathy cards, the family asks for you to bring Christmas Cards filled with fond memories.
