Bedelia Mae Plumer

Bedelia Mae Plumer, affectionately known as Dee Dee, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024, in Centerville, OH, following long-term health issues. She embodied the virtues of faith, humor, and creativity throughout her life.

Born on September 7, 1950, in Wytheville, Dee Dee was a beloved figure in her family and friends. Dee Dee was a graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School. After graduation, she dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home for her family as a homemaker. Dee Dee's talents shone brightest in the kitchen and in the heart of her home, where she was renowned for her exceptional cooking and her innate ability to transform any space with her decorative flair.

Her laughter was infectious, and her creative spirit was evident in every aspect of her life. Dee Dee believed faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's challenges and joys.

Dee Dee is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Betty Snyder, and her beloved husband, John Plumer. Her legacy will be carried on by her loving children, Zach Stone, Gabe Stone, and Rachel Rudegeair, and her cherished son-in-law, Shawn Rudegeair. Dee Dee was a devoted sister to Becky Eller and her husband, Tim Eller; Allen Snyder and his wife, Susan Snyder; and Bill Snyder and his wife, Terri Briggins. Her memory will also be treasured by her nephews, nieces, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Dee Dee will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine in the lives of those she touched. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is at peace.

A visitation will be held from 4-5pm with Memorial service to begin at 5pm on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Rogers Funeral Home New Lebanon. Following the service there will be a gathering at Company 7 BBQ in Englewood from 6-9:30pm. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
