DAWS, Bessie S. "Sylvia" Age 83 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, April 02, 2013. Born in Dayton, Ohio on Nov. 29, 1929 to her parents, Theodore & Essie (Burton) Brewster. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 50 years, Robert "Bob" Daws; sister, Dema Brewster; brothers, Virthel & Vernon Brewster; and sister, Norma Cummings. Sylvia is survived by her 3 daughters, Donna Ullery, Debra (Bill) Scherer, and Lynda (Jon Millett) Kingsberg; 1 grandson, Nate Scherer; 1 granddaughter, Caitlyn Kingsberg; 1 brother, Charles (Norma) Brewster; 1 sister, Barbara (Joe) Olekas; special friend, Ivan Sharpe; and many more friends and family members. Sylvia was a devoted loving Mother and Grandmother, and will be dearly missed. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 5, 2013 at Rogers' Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Trotwood, 45426. A Graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM the same day at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N Valley Rd., Xenia, OH 45385 (There will not be a funeral procession).
