GLANTON, Bettie Frances (Poston) of Farmersville, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013. Bettie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas Dale Glanton; daughters, Linda (Travis) Godley of Walterboro, SC and Shelly (Randy) Shellabarger of Centerville; granddaughter, Robin Shellabarger; sisters, Janet Castle, Helen Royal, Ann King, Kay Trogdon, Gail Picklesimer, all of Portsmouth, Ohio, Judy Morrison of Saginaw, Michigan, and Mary Crull of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Glanton in 2009. Bettie was a teacher at Valley View Schools for over 20 years. She loved her family and enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, and golf. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Bill Walk, officiating. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the New Lebanon Brethren Church Memorial Fund.
