Betty J. Coddington

CODDINGTON, Betty J. Age 86, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born August 5, 1926 in Dayton, to the late George and Bertha (Kauffman) Boval. Betty was a graduate of Jefferson Township High School in 1944. She worked at Frigidaire 10 years and Montgomery County Juvenile Court. She is preceded in death by her parents; devoted husband, Lloyd J. Coddington; brothers, Norman, Nelson, and Bobby; sisters, Evelyn Whitehead and Catherine Stichweh; and her beloved companion Cocker Spaniel, Penny Poo. She is survived by her son and his wife, Jere and Shirley Coddington; grandchildren, Ronnie (Tonya) Taylor, Amy Taylor (Donnie), and Bethany A. Coddington (Anthony); and great-grandchildren, Austin, Ronnie Jr., Madison, Malia, and Aubrey. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Betty's caregivers; granddaughters, Amy (Donnie) and Bethany and to Becky and Jessica at Hospice of Dayton. Funeral Services will be 1PM on Friday, January 11 at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood, with her nephew, the Reverend Michael Stichweh, presiding. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.
