Betty L. Colwell-Hackney

Colwell-Hackney, Betty L. 11-29-49 ~ 12-30-2016, age 67, passed away at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Newfound, KY on November 29, 1949 to the late Clayton and Daisy Colwell. Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Shoupe; grandson, Michael Shoupe; sisters, Reva Brown and Sarah Ledbetter; and brother, John Colwell. Betty is survived by her husband, James Hackney; daughter, Tammy Shoupe; sisters, Mayme (Jim) Hypes, Gladys Barnes, and Nellie (Dwight) Pugh; brothers, Phill Colwell and Clayton Colwell Jr; special friend, Joretta Ogg; numerous nieces and nephews; special nieces, Della and Julie; and many friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday January 5 from 4PM to 6PM at Trotwood Baptist Church, 777 E Trotwood Blvd, Trotwood, 45426.
