COOK, Betty Jean

Age 95 of Trotwood, joined her husband in Heaven on Thursday, March 9, 2023. She was born on September 24, 1927 to her parents, George & Alice (Miller) Derringer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Edward Cook; 4 brothers, Daniel (Thelma), Lawson (Juanita), Paul , and infant brother, James Robert; and a grandson, Brian Fuller.

Betty is survived by her children, Sharon (Rodney) Fuller, Kenneth (Donna) Cook, and Phyllis Kokoropoulus; brother, Joe (Mary Ruth) Derringer; sister-in-law, Marie Derringer; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Betty enjoyed quilting, jigsaw puzzles, cooking, baking, reading, mushroom hunting, gardening, and had a soft spot for all animals. But most of all she loved her husband, Jesus, and her family. She prayed for everyone and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation 12-1pm with funeral to follow at 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Pastor Dan Kincer officiating. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
