Bonnie Johnson

JOHNSON, Bonnie age 89, of New Lebanon Ohio. Born June 18, 1921, went home to be with the Lord, on May 30, 2011. She was the last of 14 children born to Robert and Susan (McKinney) Osborne, of Estill County Kentucky. She was also preceded in death by her husband John M. Johnson, daughters Clementine Phillips and Judy Flint, and son, John F. Johnson. She is survived by daughters Margie (Carl) Petree of Lewisburg Ohio, and Susan (James) Hamblin of New Lebanon Ohio. Grandchildren, Penny (Rick) Welbaum, Pamela (John) Garland, Patricia (Terry) Cool, Tom Phillips, Bonnie Phillips, John D. Johnson, Cynthia Thomas, Carl Petree Jr., Jesse Petree, James Aaron Hamblin, and Brekke Hamblin. Great grandchildren, Mandy Cool, Rachael Cool, Daniel Garland, Katie Garland, Megan Poppaw, Noah Welbaum, Telisha Boggs, Anthony Boggs, Melissa Boggs, Christian Phillips, Kelsey Phillips, and Corey Phillips, Three great great grandchildren, Austin Cool, Khloe Cool, Sophia Poppaw. She is also survived by half sisters, Lily Sturgis of Indiana, Allie Fair Noland, Ina Metcalfe, Martha Flynn, Joanne Patrick, and half brother, Wade Osborne of Kentucky, and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Union Pentecostal church in Dayton Ohio. The family will receive friends at Rogers' Funeral Home in New Lebanon, Ohio, on Friday, June, 3, 2011 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM. Pastor Clifford Hurst, officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio.
