Brenda Gail Polston

POLSTON, Brenda Gail (Hicks) Age 69 of New Lebanon, OH went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 29, 2016. She was born on April 28, 1947 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late George and Dorothy Ann Hicks. Brenda was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was preceded in death by brothers, Tony Hicks and Mickey Hicks. Brenda is survived by her loving Husband of 51 years, McKinley “Mac” Polston, son Scott (Michelle) Polston of New Lebanon, OH, daughter Debbie (Charles) Derrick of Bowling Green, KY. Sisters, Dana (Wayne) Powell of Ellenton, FL, Donna Rutherford of West Alexandria, OH and Rhonda (Tom) Erisman of West Alexandria, OH. , Grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew VanAusdoll) Polston, Scott (Jennifer) Polston, Chris Polston, Ashley Polston, Travis (Justice) Lowe, Kevin Derrick and Connor Polston. Great-grandchildren Brenden, Brayden and Matthew VanAusdoll, Colt and Chloe Polston, Declan Polston, Scarlett Eckley and Anneleigh Lowe. She was a member of the Trotwood High School class of 1965, retired from GM in 1991 and was a member of Farmersville Eastern Star #155. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 4-7 PM at First Baptist Church of New Lebanon, 335 South Church St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345. Order of Eastern Star and the funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM. Pastors Doug Criswell & Donnie Smith will be officiating.
