Bruce R. Petry

PETRY, BRUCE R. 80, of Dayton, passed away December 8, 2020 at Crossroads Rehabilitation and Nursing. He was born May 21, 1940 to Dean and Francis (Rue) Petry in Dayton. Bruce was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Charlene J. (Gose) Petry; parents; great-grandson, John; sister, Susan Lamb. He is survived by his daughters, Sondra (Derek) Alcorn and Tonya (Chris) Cheffer; son, Scott Petry; grandchildren, Jami, Michelle, Ashley, Lindsey, Andrew, Kahla, Courtney, Kara, Tyler, Bryan, Dustin, Halie; great grandchildren, Christopher, Tyler, Kenzie, Braden, Trey, Madisyn, Keagan, Jaylah, Kaylee, Frederick Dean, Daisja, Mason, Mayci, Breelyn, Colton, Landen, Weston, and Charlee; siblings, Gene (Sherry) Petry, Russ Petry, Sharon (Roger) Dohner, Jon (Kathy) Petry, Deana Doughman, Scott (Kim) Petry. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 12 PM to 1 PM at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM with Terry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.
