Bryon Russell Bitner

January 3, 1956 — May 3, 2024

Bryon Russell Bitner, 68, of New Lebanon, Ohio, passed away on May 3, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. Born to the late Carol Franish Bitner and Byron Bitner, whom he was preceded in death by, Bryon was a resolute and independent presence in both his community and family.


Bryon leaves behind his beloved wife, Tammie, and a loving, blended family. He was previously married to Kim Nicholas, the mother of his sons, Darrell (Christine) and Russell (Jenny). Darrell and Christine are parents to Steven and Benjamin. Christine’s daughters are Taylor (Ryan Shelton) and Jazmyn (Rickey Wagoner). Russell and Jenny are blessed with a daughter, Annabelle. Bryon also cherished his time with Tammie's children, Kaelan and Meagan Radzyminski (George), and their sons, Cameron, Joah, and Henry.


Bryon was the brother of Lorene Harris (Harry), Dena Massey (Mike), and Scott Bitner (Angie). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.


Known for his no-nonsense attitude, honesty, and diligent work ethic, Bryon was deeply committed to his family, demonstrating his unwavering loyalty and independence.


A gathering of friends and family will be on Saturday, May 25th starting at 2pm at the Bitner residence, 423 South Clayton Road, New Lebanon, Ohio 45345
