Carl Beneke

Carl Beneke, born on November 4, 1927, in Lewisburg, Ohio, passed away on December 8, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. He was a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.

Carl enjoyed a variety of activities throughout his life. In his younger years, he loved trap shooting and bowling. He also found joy in attending tractor pulls. Above all, Carl had a profound love for his children and grandchildren, which was evident to all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Nancy A. Redelman; his son, Timothy S. (Donna) Beneke; granddaughters, Alicia (Jason) Sanders and Amanda (Andy) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Sydney (Justin) Sanderson, Miley & Jayden Alcorn, Liam Sanders, and Ava Thompson; great-great-grandchild, Oaklan Sanderson; his brother, Paul (Marna) Beneke; a special nephew, Larry (Cheryl) Fugate; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his father, Everett Beneke; his mother, Stella Beneke; his wife, Alma R. Beneke, who passed away in 2001; and his grandson, Danny Alcorn.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, both at Salem Lutheran Church, located at 70 East Dayton St., West Alexandria, OH 45381.
