Carla Mae Collier

COLLIER, Carla Mae Carla was born Carol Mae Olinger to Worley and Clover Augusta Olinger on July 2, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio. On Friday, January 12, 2018 Carla departed this earth after a very long battle with her health, cancer took a toll on her already fragile weak body. She put up a long courageous fight. God saw she was suffering too much and took her home so she could finally rest and be at peace. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Worley and Clover Olinger; her brother, Cecil Olinger; sister-in-law, Bertha Olinger; brother-in-law, Ronnie Murray; niece and nephew, Ricky and Vicky Webb; her first husband, Robert Davis, Sr.; and her friend and ex-husband, Ronald Collier Sr. She is survived by her three children: son, Robert (Lisa) Davis, Jr., daughter, Nicole (Oliver) Abernathy, and youngest son, Ronald Collier, Jr; her two sisters, Polly Murray and Charlotte Webb; two brothers, Burton Olinger and Dennis Olinger Sr.; grandchildren, Robert Rodgers, Jessica (Zac) Roberds, Dylan (Mara) Davis, Karisa Abernathy, Chinah Abernathy, Allek Abernathy and Abijah Abernathy, Tori Hawley, Brandon Stanley; and 9 great grandkids. A memorial visitation will be held from 1-2 pm with memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at Rogers Funeral Home, 324 West Main St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345.
