Carol E. (Amos) Gilvin

GILVIN, Carol E. (Amos) Age 68, of Trotwood, went to be with the Lord Sunday November 19, 2017. She was born October 7, 1949 in Dayton the late Herbert “Dutch” L. and Evelyn E. Amos. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Amos; sister, Sherry Rife; and significant other, Doug Horstman. She is survived by her son, Brian (Judy) Gilvin; daughter, Sandra (Steve) Herman; grandchildren, Austin, Kayla, Zach, and Rick (Brittany); siblings, Richard (Norann) Amos, Ronald (Joan) Amos, Donald Amos, and Julie (Belinda) Amos; and numerous other family and friends. A visitation will be held Monday November 27 from 5PM to 8PM at Trotwood Church of the Brethren, 208 E. Main Street, Trotwood, 45426. The memorial service will begin at 11AM on Tuesday November 28 at the church with Pastors Jennifer Keeney Scarr and Glenn Timmons officiating.
