Carol A. Schreiber

Schreiber, Carol A. (Steck) Age 76, of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 8, 2020. She was born April 2, 1943 in Dayton to the late William and Frances (Rether) Steck. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a son, Danny Schreiber; her sister, Nancy Burnett; and nephew, Kevin Steck. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bill Schreiber; son, Dean (Robin) Schreiber; daughter, Mindy Mayberry; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; nephew, Greg Burnett; and many more family and friends. Carol had formerly worked as a pharmacy technician and enjoyed making crafts. She was a member and trustee for the New Lebanon United Methodist Church where she also volunteered with the Latchkey program and was a Sunday School Teacher. She volunteered at C.A.M.P. food pantry in Farmersville and, with Bill, helped with the New Lebanon Stagecoach Days for over 20 years. Carol absolutely loved all of her grandkids. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 12 from 2-5PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The service will begin at 11AM on Monday. January 13 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria.
