Carol Ann (Booher) Vanzant

Carol Ann (Booher) VanZant 69, formerly of Trotwood, passed away November 29, 2021. She was born May 27, 1952 to Creta Faye and LeRoy “Sonny” Booher. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donnie; sister, Marsha Lou. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mike VanZant of Brookville; son, Zachary (Kara) VanZant; grandson, Karson VanZant; sisters, Karen (Scott) Mikulski of Florida, Connie of Cincinnati; brothers, Doug (Vicki) Booher of Tallahassee, Florida, David, of Orlando, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was President of Associated Excavating. Carol enjoyed gardening, sewing, and decorating, all of which she excelled at. She loved life and enjoyed having her friends and family around at all times, making her an amazing social butterfly. Carol was a caretaker and made sure those around her always had a shoulder to lean on. Visitation for Carol will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a memorial service to begin at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks those wishing to give to consider Hospice of Dayton.
