Catherine U. Hull

HULL, Catherine U. Age 96, of Brookville, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, January 28, 2016. She was an active member of Trinity United Church of Christ, homemaker, and former employee of the Frigidaire Division of General Motors in Dayton. She was a 1937 graduate of Farmersville High School and enjoyed quilting, bowling, basketball, gardening, bird-watching, baking pies, singing in choir, and arranging flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Hull, to whom she had been happily married for 62 years; her parents, Lon and Lettie Peck; 3 sisters, Elvaretta, Mary, and Dorothy; and 3 brothers, Leroy, Paul, and Warren. Catherine is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Byron and Oneida Hull of Brookville, and Dennis and Shirley Hull of Ostrander, OH; 6 grandchildren and spouses, Angela and Jeffrey Honious of Springboro, Tricia and Scott Turney of Springboro, Camila and Eric Rader of Tipp City, David and Nicole Hull of Marysville, Oliver Hull and April Hull of Ostrander, OH; 13 great grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Alexander, and Amanda Honious, Jonathen, Natalie, Jacob, and Zachary Turney, Joshua, Samantha, and Mackenzie Rader, and Elijah and Matthew Hull. Funeral services will be 10AM, Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 1830 W. Main St., New Lebanon, with Pastor Bobbie Predmore presiding. Burial will follow in Eversole Cemetery. Catherine’s family will receive friends at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOMES, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon, Sunday afternoon from 2PM to 4PM. Contributions, if desired, may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, Missions Fund, in memory of Catherine.
