ASKINS, Charles Darrell “Charlie” Age 94 of New Lebanon, Ohio passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. He was born on September 1, 1922 in Miamisburg, Ohio. Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Glenna L. (Michael) Askins. He is survived by 3 children, son, Charles W. Askins; daughter, Connie F. (husband Thomas E.) Ruschau; and son, Fred L. Askins; 2 grandchildren, Matthew T. and Michelle L. Ruschau. Charles was a proud veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific. He was a millwright at Standard Register for 43 years, before retiring. A graveside service with military honors will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, April 21, 2017.
