WILSON, Charles F. “Charlie” Age 71 of Brookville passed away at home with family by his side on Saturday, September 30, 2017. He was born on October 11, 1945 in Muncie, IN to his parents Jesse & Genevieve “Jean” (Thomas) Wilson who preceded him in death along with 2 brothers, Kenneth and David Wilson; and 3 brothers-in-law, Jim Black, Larry Wharton, and Richard “Red” Hubley. Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Jean Wilson; son, Charlie A. (Andrea) Wilson; grandchildren, Samantha, Marissa, Kara, Kendall, and Alexa Wilson, Sam (Brittany) Gilbert, and Matt Polston; great-grandchildren, Brody, Charlie, and Dorothy; siblings, Myra Wharton, Dennis (Kathy) Wilson, Gary (Debbie) Wilson, and Kathy Hubley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim & Babe Pinelle, Kim Grebence, Steven & Debra Grebence, Shirley & Mike Sealey, Anthony & Tonya Pinelle, Margie & Steve Fitch, Terry Wilson, Kathy Simanski, and Donna Wilson; also numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends, which certainly includes his best friend, Lily Bang. Charlie retired from I.M.I. Precision Engineering in Brookville after many years of dedicated service and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Charlie enjoyed playing pool, but what brought him the most joy was watching the kids in his family play sports. He will be dearly missed and always remembered. Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm with Memorial service to follow at 1:00 pm on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at Rogers’ Funeral Home, 324 West Main St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345.
