Charles T. "Charlie" Frantz

Frantz, Charles T. “Charlie” Charles T. “Charlie” Frantz, 78, of New Lebanon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. He was born on September 14, 1943 in New Lebanon, Ohio to Roy Frantz and Mary (Boone) Frantz. He had three older siblings Marty, Rene, and Norm. He married his sweetheart, Kathy Frantz, in 1968 and had two sons Bryan and Jason Frantz. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy; mother, Mary; oldest brother Marty (Ester); brother Norm; and brother-in-law Don Griffith. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathy Frantzo; oldest son, Bryan (Tina) of Middletown, Ohio; youngest son, Jason (Julie) of Batavia, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jaron, 17, Alex, 17, Jacob, 15, Dakota, 14, Jaxon 12, and Jocelyn, 7; sister, Rene (Fred) Kellers of Nashville, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Pat (Dave) Hemsley of Beavercreek, Ohio; brother-in-law, Leroy Wenger of Gratis, Ohio; sister-in-law, Susie Frantz of Weslaco, Texas; sister-in-law, Sharon Griffith of Kernersville, North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. For many years he and his wife owned and operated the Frantz Fruit Market in New Lebanon, Ohio. He was a member of the local congregation of United Church of God in Fairborn, Ohio and loved his church family greatly. He was loved by all and has left his family and friends with many wonderful memories, which will never be forgotten. Visitation for Charles will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Cornerstone Community Church, 450 S. Main St. Franklin, OH 45005. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, at 10:30 am at Cornerstone Community Church. Burial will be private at a later date.
