Charles E. Maiden

MAIDEN, Charles E. Age 77, of New Lebanon, joined his family in Heaven on Thursday January 19, 2017. Charles was born August 31, 1939 in Whitley County, KY to the late Gilbert Lee and Myrtle (King) Maiden. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, June Buck, Lonnie Maiden, and Georgie Nichols. Charles is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Lois; children, Kim (Tim) Tirey, Rob (Diane) Maiden, and Doug (Michelle) Maiden; grandchildren, Amanda, Wes, Missy, Luke, and Levi; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth (Sue) Maiden, Maxine (Ernest) Miller, Pauline (Carl) Crabtree, Ralph Maiden, Joyce (Clint) Powers, and Lisa Maiden; and special friend, Stanley King. He retired from Production Control Units as a machinist after 43 years of service and enjoyed fishing, hunting, target shooting, and playing the lottery. A visitation will be held Tuesday January 24 from 6 to 8PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 12PM on Wednesday January 25 at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Kane officiating. Burial will follow the service at Eversole Cemetery, New Lebanon.
