Charles Thorpe

Charles Thorpe 82, died Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his home. He was born February 20, 1940 to Lula and Andrew Thorpe in Lee County, Kentucky. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; 7 brothers; 3 sisters; daughter, Pamela Thorpe. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Velma (Fisher) Thorpe; 3 sons, Charles “Old Man” Thorpe, Harry (Dawn) Thorpe, Bill (Amanda) Thorpe; daughters, Tammy (Dodge) Hensley, Cora “Nett” Allen, Lula (Thomas Swisher) Thorpe; 17 special grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial visitation for Charles on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Drexel Church of the Nazarene 101 Drexel Ave, Dayton, 45417 from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Rogers Funeral Home.
