Cheryl Meade

MEADE, Cheryl Age 58 of Trotwood, passed away after a lengthy illness on January 5, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on June 20, 1956 to her parents, Herbert & Geneva (Niece) Meade. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Herbert; and husband, Sam Ellis. She is survived by her mother, Geneva; brother, Radford (Sharyl) Meade; sister, Freda Noronha; brother, Alan (Cathy) Meade; daughter, Leah (Raymond) Martin; son, Adrian Jordan; son, Riley Lyons; 5 grandchildren, Lily, Julia, Vanessa, and Ethan Martin, and Adrian Kobe Jordan. Cheryl was a 1973 graduate of Trotwood-Madison H.S. and attended Morehead University where she was in the music program. She later earned an Associate’s degree in Computer Programming and worked at CINTAS in the accounting department. She enjoyed playing the piano and was always smiling and laughing. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She will be missed. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm with funeral service to follow at 1:00pm on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at Rogers’ Funeral Home in Trotwood. Pastor Jack Niece officiating.
