Chester F. Banks

BANKS, Chester F. Sr Age 80, of Trotwood, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 4, 2014. A veteran of the Korean War. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Dottie; daughter, Deanna Perkins; son, Chester Jr. and wife Edie Banks; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Olsen, Christina Perkins, Justin Perkins, and Teaunda Davis; 2 great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and Marcus Olsen. Preceded in death by 2 daughters, Crystal Banks and Sherry Davis. He was the last surviving son of Grover and Leatha Banks and 12 siblings of Bethany, KY. Donations can be made to Vitas Hospice. The Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8 from 11AM to 12Noon at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood. The Funeral Service will begin at 12Noon with Chaplain Dave Snowden, officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek-Hillgrove Cemetery, Dayton.
