Age 71 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was born in Hazard, KY on February 4, 1953 to her parents, Langley & Joyce (Campbell) Melton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wallace; son, Daniel Wallace; 4 sisters, and 1 brother.

Chris is survived by 2 daughters, Becky (David) Wallace, and Wendy Baumgart; brother, Kenneth (Elayne) Melton; sister, Pauline (Randy) Brooks; grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Emily, Ashley, David, Ethan, Sabrina, Destiny, Rochelle, and Seth.

Chris was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 12-1pm with funeral service to begin at 1:00pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Pastor Jerry Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Trissel Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
