HILEMAN, Clara B.
Age 92 of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of New Lebanon, Ohio. With the help of Ohio’s Hospice, Clara transitioned to her Heavenly Home on Monday, July 31, 2023. Clara was born on October 28, 1930 to the late Nellie (Troutman) Leis and Homer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Don E. Hileman on March 19, 2002.
Clara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Mike Banks; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Camilla Hileman; and two very precious grandchildren, Camilla McMahon and Dan Hileman.
Clara graduated from Farmersville High School and Miami University. She was very active in the Farmersville Historical Society and chaired their quilt show for 17 years.
Thanks to the staff at Walnut Creek for 18 happy years in the cottage there. She enjoyed 18 years of volunteering in the assisted living. Also, thanks to the Bethany Village staff and friends for their loving care. She especially enjoyed the church service, Bible study, taking new residents under her wing, and playing Dominos
A visitation will be held from 10-11am at Rogers Funeral Home with procession to begin at 11:00am to go to Holp Cemetery in Farmersville for a graveside service starting at 11:30am all on Saturday, August 5, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clara’s memory to Operation Heal our Patriots through Samaritans Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 or the Hileman Memorial Fund at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Farmersville. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
