Cloda L. Baird

BAIRD, Cloda L. Age 85, of New Lebanon, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015. She was born December 22, 1929 in Pulaski, KY to her parents, Hubert “Nick” and Monta Eldridge. Cloda was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lloyd Baird. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Sharon and Ed Petry of Miamisburg and Debbie and Darrin Heinz of Waynesville; loving grandchildren, Wyatt and Rachel Heinz of Waynesville; sister, Geraldine Mutzner of Richmond, IN; sister-in-law, Phyllis Eldridge of Dayton; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends. Early in life she worked at McCall Corporation, then babysat her grandchildren and attended any and every activity they participated in. Cloda enjoyed yard work and was a great cook, whose specialties were carrot cake and chicken and noodles. The family would like to thank the staff at Sycamore Medical Center ICU and the caregivers at Hospice of Dayton for the care given to Cloda. The Visitation is Thursday, July 16 from 10AM to 12PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOMES, New Lebanon, with the Funeral Service beginning at 12PM. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon.
