ABNER, Connie Sue Passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 5, 1957 to Glen and Carolyn (Schoonover) Bowser in Dayton. Connie was a very faithful member of First Baptist Church of West Alexandria and loved listening to gospel music. She enjoyed doing puzzles, swimming, fishing, and playing bingo with her friends and family. Connie loved her family above all else. She is survived by her sister, Sandy (Francis) Lemen; nieces and nephews, Rhonda (David) Green, Billie Jo (Conley) Brandenburg, Kim (Mark Bean) Bowser, Heather (Jimmy) Lurton, Jaiyveon Lemen, Anthony Lemen; great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamie (Jay) Mikesell, Jessica (Kaleb) Gauvey, Tyler Green, Cody Brandenburg, Bree (Nick) Gore, Cole Brandenburg, Bishop Bean, Libby Bean; great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces, Parker Gauvey, Avery Gore, Charlie Gore; and sister-in-law, Wilma Bowser. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jon Abner; son, Jonathan Abner; siblings, Dennis W. Bowser, Beverly (Ronald) Izor; and nephew, Dennis H. Bowser. A visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
