Daisy M. Hackney

HACKNEY, Daisy M. (Johnson) Age 91, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. Daisy was born September 13, 1924 in Rockhole, Kentucky to her parents, Garfield and Rosie Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Ben; sons, Duffy and Ricky; brother, James Johnson; and sister, Ruby Johnson. Daisy is survived by her children, Shade (Darlene), James (Betty), Brenda Sizemore, Charles (Brenda), Robert L. (Sandra), Carla (Steve) Pigg, Sharon (Mike) Hartfelder, Sandy (John) Freels, and Jeff; pets, Brittney and Billy Ray; 35 grandchildren; 71 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was a member of the Trotwood Baptist Church and her family gave her the most enjoyment in life. The Visitation will be Monday, September 28 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Randy Salyer officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.
