Dale Wesley Lightner

LIGHTNER, Dale Wesley Age 76, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August, 7, 2015. He was born on September 21, 1938 to his parents, Claude and Lula (nee Robinson) Lightner in Holdenville, OK. His parents preceded him in death along with his wife, Mildred (nee Hurst) Lightner; sister, Lucille Hutchinson; and brother, Gerald Lightner. He is survived by his sisters, Maxine (Darrell) Swisher, of Edmond, OK, and Helen Leona, of Kingman, AZ, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dale proudly served his country as a Marine. With his wife, Mildred, he served as pastor of several churches in Oklahoma, New Mexico, and California and was missionary on three Native American reservations before retiring in 2002. His constant friendliness, ready wit, and stimulating conversations will be missed by all who knew him, and by his many friends at Union Pentecostal Church and Maria-Joseph Living Care Center. Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM with funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August, 11, 2015 at Rogers’ Funeral Home, New Lebanon. Pastor Clifford Hurst and Rev.
