Dale A. Reed

Age 75 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 11, 2024. He was born on May 1, 1948 to his parents, Eugene and Lillian (Welch) Reed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Reed; and granddaughter, Angel Reed; and brother, Gregory Reed.

Dale is survived by his wife of 57 years, Susie (Kedler) Reed; 2 children Eric and Amber Reed; 6 grandchildren, Brandi, Allisha, Caleb, Levi, Joseph, and Joshua; 11 great grandchildren, Clinton, Keegan, Landon, Jaaron, Viola, Lily, Ryder, and 4 others; and very best friend, Mike Frazier.

Dale loved his family, baseball, football, basketball, and especially golf. He could do anything and was a jack of all trades. He worked at Burger Iron in 1967 then joined the Air Force Reserves. After that Dale worked at Dayton Tire and Rubber from 1968-1980 and Montgomery County for 30 years as a Maintenance Supervisor.

Memorial visitation will be held form 4:00-5:30pm with Memorial service to begin at 5:30pm on Thursday, February 8th at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Pastor Mark Plummer to officiate.
