Danny Ray Kidder

July 27, 1955 — May 6, 2021

Kidder, Danny Ray 65, of Lewisburg, Ohio found peace on Thursday, May 6, 2021. He was born July 27, 1955 to Nanny Jane and Arthur Raymond Kidder in Christiansburg, Ohio. In June of 1975, he married Mary A. Gillis, in Piqua, Ohio. He was a loving husband, son, son-in-law, brother, uncle, father, and grandpa. He was extremely devoted to his family. Dan was a graduate of Graham High School and went on to graduate from Hobart Welding School. He became a welding instructor and later worked with a team who started a robotics company, which he loved. Dan was a talented guitar player who not only played well, but taught his craft to those who wanted to learn. He played in several bands with friends, and eventually started a family band with his wife that included his children, son-in-law, and friends. His talents also included wood-crafting, working on older model cars, metal art, remodeling projects in homes, and was proud of his barn built by his own plans and hands. Danny is preceded in death by his loving father, Arthur “Raymond” Kidder, and his beloved son, Jeremy Ray Kidder. Danny is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, his daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. Private services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon, Ohio and the Kidder family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Montgomery County or The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.
