Darlene Marie Carroll

Carroll, Darlene Marie Age 61 of New Lebanon, Ohio, overcame her lengthy battle with brain cancer to walk with God on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Darlene was born on September 9, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late James and Lois Heller. She is survived by her devoted and loyal spouse and best friend, Harry J. Carroll III; 4 children, Amber Carroll, Heather (Ken) Carroll, Rachel (Ryan) Carroll, and Stephanie (Joseph) Carroll; grandchildren, Cameron Carroll, Jillian Carroll, Kamie Villalpando, Carson Carroll, Harper Paxton, and Milo Paxton; Siblings, Debbie Heller, Doug Heller, and Dave (Sandy Jo) Heller. In 1994, Darlene founded the Southwest Ohio Brain Tumor Support Group to help and support those whose lives have been affected. Many of the friends she met in these 28 years became a large part of her family. She was a lover of ladybugs; her cats, Swiffy and Ringo; puppies, but mostly her friends and family, including Justin and Brent. Darlene was also a past member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Trotwood. A celebration of Darlene’s life and the love her family has for her is planned for visitation from 6-7 pm with service to follow at 7:00pm on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Precious Blood Church, 4961 Salem Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45416.
