MICHAEL, Darlene D. Age 56 of Miami, FL, formerly of New Lebanon, Ohio passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 1, 1957 to her parents Daryl Sr. and Wanda (Law) Michael. Her father preceded her in death along with brother, Dana Michael; sister-in-law, Becky Michael; and nephew, Ryan Michael. Darlene is survived by her mother, Wanda Michael; brother, Daryl Michael Jr.; sister, Melinda Cox; nieces and nephews, Shaun (Leah) Michael, Scott Michael, Shannon (Nick) Powell; Andrew Cox, and Heather Cox; 5 great nieces and nephews, Lane & Carson Powell; Conner & Claire Michael; and Hadleigh Cox; special friend, Martha Alas; and many more friends and family members. Darlene graduated in 1975 from Dixie High School and from Sinclair C.C in 1978. She worked for Pacesetter Products and was a professional Nanny. She loved all sports and was a big movie buff. A visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Tuesday evening at Rogers' Funeral Home, New Lebanon. Funeral Service will be at the funeral home Wednesday Oct. 23 at 11:00 am, Pastor Gary Eubank officiating. Interment will follow at Germantown Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Ryan and Becky Michael Memorial Scholarship in care of Advantage Bank in New Lebanon.
