David Allen Boughan

BOUGHAN, David Allen Age 63, of Yellow Springs, ascended peacefully to the Lord on Monday, August 17, 2015 after a long illness. He was born February 28, 1952 in Lima to the late Gary and Jeanette Boughan. David is survived by his children, Jeremy and Kirsten Boughan; grandchildren, Sundar and Daya Woodyard-Boughan; siblings, April (Greg) Ross, Judy (Eric) Brown, and Steve (Cynthia) Boughan; niece and nephews, Shelby and Benjamin Ross and Byron, Ethan, and Jared Brown. He was an avid book collector and loved to read. He loved to play the drums and for many years was a drummer with the Dayton Yellow Springs Band. David should be remembered as kind, patient and a good listener. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 21 at 4PM at Glen Helen Nature Preserve 405 Corry St., Yellow Springs, 45387, at the big rock by the Trailside Museum with Scott Lindberg officiating. There will be a fellowship dinner following the service to honor friends at 320 Union St., Yellow Springs, 45387.
