David Roger Bryant

BRYANT, David Roger Age 56 of Rockford, OH, formerly of New Lebanon, OH, passed away, March 4, 2015. He was born in Iaeger, West Virginia (McDowell County) on Feb. 20, 1959 to his parents, Charles “Buddy” & Wilma (Miles) Bryant. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon (West) Bryant; maternal grandparents, Sarah & David Otis Miles; paternal grandparents, Roger Bryant; Naomi “Blondie” & Al Lawson; uncles, Norman “Sonny” Stevens, and Bill Stevens. David is survived by his children, Leah & Nolan Bryant; granddaughter, Rosealine Bryant; siblings, Teresa Profit, Debbie Parks, Cary Roehm, CJ Bryant, Patty Gates, Jeff Miller, Bill Miller, and Joell Parker; step-mother, Eva Miller; aunt, Mary Crist, uncles, Johnny Bryant, and Johnny Miles; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. David graduated from Dixie High School in 1977. He worked at New Lebanon Garage, collected owls, and loved Rock music, especially Journey, Iron Maiden, and Led Zeppelin. He loved to whistle and was a big OSU fan. He will be missed. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9 from 5-7PM with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM at Rogers’ Funeral Home, 324 West Main St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345. Rev. Will Haggis will be officiating. A graveside committal service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 N. Dixie Dr. Dayton, OH 45414.
