David R. Cobb

COBB, David R. Age 79, of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 26, 2019. He was born August 19, 1946 in Fentress County, Tennessee to the late Obery and Flossie (Claiborn) Cobb. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a special friend, Joan Ingram. He is survived by his sons, Robert and George (Melissa) Cobb; grandsons, Max and Dustin Cobb; sisters, Betty (Marvin) Watkins, Bonny (John) Baskin, and Judy (Earl) Shipley; former wife, Frances (Yost) Londergan; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends. David was a proud veteran of the U.S. Airforce and retired from Chrysler after 30+ years of service. He enjoyed working on cars and his grandsons were the love of his life. The family will receive friends Friday, November 1 from 4-6PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service with military honors will begin at 6PM with Pastor Jerry Carter officiating.
