David E. King

KING, David E. Age 58 of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Dave was born on January 21, 1959 to his parents, David L. & Cora (Terry) King who have preceded him in death. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Brandee King; son, Justin; daughters, Jessica and Elise King; sister, April Hunter; in laws – the Pederson Family, best friends in the McCargish family, many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Anyone that met Dave, LOVED Dave. He was just an amazing man. He was a quiet and compassionate man but full of humor. He was one of the hardest working men you could know, he never sat still. He took great pride in his yard, garage, and basement. Dave was so proud of his kids. The love he had for his family is beyond measure. He loved to have the kids’ friends over to cook for them, especially chicken wings. Everyone loved Dave’s wings. He loved being a host and just spending time with his kids, family, and friends. That is what made him the happiest. Dave loved to play sports and games of any kind. He was a huge sports fan and loyal to the end to the Cleveland Browns. He also enjoyed the Cavaliers, UD Basketball, and the Indians. He coached the kids when they were younger and took so much pride and joy in that. Dave was a man you could always count on. He worked for R.B. Jergens for many years. Dave loved and trusted in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and in this we have some peace knowing that one day we will be together again. He will be missed and cherished by so many. There are endless memories, laughter, and love that Dave brought to this world and we carry that in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM with a Celebration of Dave’s Life to follow at 7:00 PM on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017 at the Vineyard Community Church, 4900 St. Rt. 123, Franklin, Ohio 45005.
