David Lee Ruff

RUFF, David Lee Age 63 of Eaton, formerly of Trotwood, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. He was born on September 30, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio to his parents, James & Barbara (Kurtz) Ruff. David was preceded in death by his father, James; paternal grandparents, Thelma (Veg) & Joseph Ruff; and maternal grandmother, Fern Kurtz David is survived by his mother, Barbara Ruff; siblings, James (Tina) Ruff, Jerome Ruff, and Dawn (Gary) Strain; nieces and nephews, Melaney (Bryant) Ballengee; Jerry (Crystal) Strain, Danielle (Adam) Zehnder, and Heather Ruff; and his church family and friends. David was a retiree of Marsh Grocery Store. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds Baseball fan and enjoyed collected baseball cards and memorabilia. He also enjoyed keeping stats for local baseball teams and in high school was a manager for the Trotwood Madison basketball team. David was a former member of the First Baptist Church in New Lebanon and a current member of the Twin Valley Baptist Church in Eaton. He will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM with memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Highland Brethren in Christ Church, 7210 S. Jay Rd. West Milton, Ohio 45383. In lieu of flowers, donation may be sent to Twin Valley Baptist Church, 1925 Eaton Lewisburg Rd., Eaton, Ohio 45320 in memory of David.
