Deana Barnett Hoskins

HOSKINS, Deana Barnett A Christian woman of little needs and no wants, her Bible was her roadmap for life, a Garden was her sustenance and her Guitar was her joyful noise unto the Lord. She was called from this world to be with her Savior and Lord on Saturday the 13th of May, 2017. Born to Gerdia (Johnson) and Tommy Barnett on the 11th day of August 1923 in Quick Sand Kentucky. She was the mother of five sons, James T. (Teresa), Mitchell (Lorene), Bernie (Cindy) Donald Ray (Sylvia) and Robbie Lee; one daughter Betty Ann; and the granddaughter she reared from infancy Deana Marie. Preceded in death by her Parents; son Mitchel; and only daughter Betty Ann Isaacs. Survived by her Sons James T., Bernie, Donald Ray and Robbie Lee; 19 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a donation would be preferred and may be made to her church listed below. Visitation will be held from 10am-11am with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Open Door Pentecostal Church of God, 12 Paige Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45417.
