Dennis K. Shade

SHADE, Dennis K. Age 63, of the Englewood/Brookville area, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2013. He was born November 15, 1949 in Dayton to the late Floyd E. and Dorothy L. Shade. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, John and Luetta Bright and W.E. and Melna Shade. He is survived by his brother, Richard Lee Shade of Brookville; ex-wife and close friend, Jackie (Merrick) Shade of Englewood; cousin, John Bright of CA; and many more family and friends. Dennis graduated Class of 1968 from Trotwood Madison High School, and retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 12:30 to 2:00PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00PM with Pastor Jason Stanton, officiating. Burial will follow at Holp Cemetery, Farmersville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Destiny Hospice in Dennis' memory.
