Dewey H. Hodge

HODGE, Dewey H. Age 90 of Brookville, died April 30, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on November 4, 1927 in Litchfield, KY to his parents, Dewey Lee & Lelah (Williams) Hodge who have preceded him in death along with his step-mom, Evelyn Hodge; sisters, Ora Mae Wall, and Hattie Ellen Wiggington; brother, Lester D. Hodge; his wife of 52 years, Grace Hodge; and 2nd wife of 14 years, Eula Beaver Hodge. Dewey is survived by his son, Johnney D. (Carolyn) Hodge; grandchildren, Jody L. (Michelle) Hodge, and Tia M. (Daniel) O’Brien; great-grandchildren, Andrew O’Brien, Lexie Bock, Erin Hodge, Tristen O’Brien, Emily Hodge, Aidan O’Brien, Zack Bock, and Rylee Hodge; also brother, Jesse Paul Hodge, and many loving nieces and nephews. Dewey proudly service in the Army Air Corps from Jan. 6, 1946 - July 31, 1947. Special thank you to the staff at the Villas of Brookhaven for their love, care, and support. Visitation will be held from 9:30am – 10:30am with funeral to follow at 10:30am on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Rogers Funeral Home in Trotwood.
